Microsoft has been on a spree of releasing new preview builds over the past couple of days. The software giant had released 15058, 15060, and 15061 builds over the course of the last couple of weeks and the latest build released was the 15063. The leaked Update Assistant has confirmed that this build 15063 is going to be the final RTM build for the Windows 10 Creators Update.
It was already known that Microsoft would be releasing the Creators Update for the public later in April and this leak somewhat confirms this. As the launch nears, the company is trying hard to fix all the known bugs and is testing the Creators Update internally as well as with Windows Insiders.
During the Windows 10 Anniversary update rollout last year, Microsoft had released an Update Assistant. The assistant has been modified for this year’s Creators Update and the rollout of the update would be in the same fashion as it was last year – in phased manner. So, you may get the update on the day one itself or you even might have to wait for a month.
The assistant was leaked by a Twitter user who has provided with inside information of Microsoft in the past too. Upon opening the update utility, you will be greeted with the following message-
One of the best features of Windows 10 is that it keeps getting better with every update. This PC is currently not running the latest and most secure version of Windows 10. This PC is running version 14393. The latest version is 15063.
This information clearly mentions that the latest build number is 15063 which makes us believe that it could indeed be the Windows 10 Creators Update RTM build. The fact that we haven’t seen any new update for the preview build after 15063 for an entire week reaffirms the assumption.
