OnePlus 3T is definitely the best mid-ranger in the market at the moment. But the company cannot stop itself from showing us why their phone is better than others and stands out of the crowd. OnePlus uploaded a video comparing the OnePlus 3T with the Google Pixel XL.
The video was made by OnePlus to show which phone of the two gets charged faster. Google Pixel XL does come with a fast charging tech but is dependent om USB-C Power Delivery standard for delivering better charge speeds. On the other hand, OnePlus has developed its own fast charging tech – Dash Charge.
It is considered the best charging technology in the world and the evidence for this is the video shared by the company. The video description says that the OnePlus 3T can give a day’s worth of power within half an hour during the commute.
OnePlus 3T comes with a 3400 mAh battery, while the Google Pixel XL packs in a slightly larger battery marked at 3450 mAh. For testing, the Pixel XL was charged using the Belkin USB-C 27W car charger and OnePlus Dash car charger was used for charging the OnePlus 3T.
There is no need to think which one would have won; it is obviously the OnePlus 3T. in the time of 30 minutes, Google Pixel 3T managed to get a charge of just 19 percent, while the OnePlus 3T was already at 57 percent. This video reaffirms the company’ claim that Dash charge can give a day’s worth of power in just half an hour.
Alongside the incredibly fast charging capabilities, the Dash Charge also manages heat very well. Most of the smartphones tend to heat up a bit while fast charging, but the OnePlus 3T doesn’t. The Dash Charge converts the voltage within the adapter preventing the heat from building up in the phone.
