The Samsung Galaxy S8’s launch is just around the corner and there is a lot of information about the device coming from different sources, but none was from the official channel until now. The Galaxy S8 has probably leaked in a video uploaded by Samsung.
The video was actually a Samsung Display TV ad which showed a smartphone that had a design in line with what it has been tipped for the Galaxy S8. Though the audio of the video is in Korean and most of the people won’t know is being said, but the visuals are enough to give some of the details of the device.
In the past, the leaks about the Galaxy S8 details about a phone that will come with really thin bezels, especially the top and bottom ones. Samsung is being said to do away with its iconic home button and capacitive Android navigation keys. The bezels on the upcoming phone would be too thin to allow everything to be placed.
Top of the phone will just house the earpiece along with a front camera and a bunch of sensors. The Samsung branding will go on the bottom, while the navigation keys will be on-screen. As far as fingerprint scanner is concerned, it is being reported to be placed right under the display.
Samsung is also said to bring the Galaxy S8 with a curved display on both the sides. But the phone in the Samsung Display TV ad has a flat screen, which indicates that there might be two variants of the phone, one with flat screen and another with the Samsung styled curved display.
The official details of the upcoming flagships will be known only at the launch event which is speculated to happen on April 21.
One of the videos has been removed by the company, while the second one is still available.
