MWC is no doubt the biggest event in the world where the future of mobile technology is showcased every year. Samsung seems all set to announce their new tablet at the event and it is said to be a ground-breaking device packing all the top end features.
Several reports have said that Samsung will most probably be launching a tablet at the MWC 2017 and it is going to be a high-end one. BGR reports that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
A lot of tests have confirmed that Snapdragon 820’s Adreno 530 GPU is way faster than Nvidia Tegra X1’s GPU used in the Google Pixel C. That means, the upcoming tablet from Samsung could easily beat the Pixel C in terms of performance.
The tablet is suggested to come in two variants, one with 8-inch display and another with a 9.7-inch display. The resolution of the larger display variant will be 2048×1536. There will be two variants on the basis of connectivity as well, one will offer only WiFi connectivity, while the other will offer LTE connectivity as well.
All the variants will come with a rear facing 8 MP camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. As far as OS is concerned, it will come with Android Marshmallow OS and not the latest Android Nougat OS. The battery capacity of the tablet will be 4000 mAh.
Zauba, a website that lists all the imports and exports happening in India, also listed the Galaxy Tab S3 devices being imported into India. The tablets were imported in November for R&D purpose and the declared value of the tablets was Rs. 34,138 which equated to $503.
