If you have been following smartphone news regularly, you might be knowing that reports last month suggested the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will be launched in Pink, Blue, Gold, and Black colors. Today, press renders of the device in all those colors has been leaked online by Slashleaks.
As you can see in the image above, Samsung hasn’t changed the design drastically and is following a similar design style for its smartphones. Nevertheless, the device in the new renders looks very good in the new colors, and the rounded curves give a modern touch to the Samsung-ish design.
Along with the renders, some Galaxy A5 2017 specs have also leaked out today by the same source. The phone will come with a 1080p full HD 5.2-inch screen and will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 7880 chipset coupled with Mali-T860 MP4 GPU. There will be 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, and the power will be supplied via a 3000mAh battery.
The 2017 Galaxy A5 will get 16MP cameras on the front and back and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Measuring 7.8mm thin, the phone will come with a Type-C USB port and a side mounted speaker. The home button could get a fingerprint scanner embedded into it. It is being said that the device will be IP68 certified, making the device waterproof for up to 30 minutes in up to 10 feet of water.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) at the CES 2017 event next month. So stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated with new details.
