Xbox isn’t as popular outside the USA, this is something a lot of American people don’t get. When you think games console in Europe or Asia, you think Sony & most of this stems back from the original Playstation. Sony really planted their seed here in 1995. Remember the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 when the 360 had a one year head start, however going by current gen there is no way Microsoft will be able to do this with Scorpio or Xbox One S. And on top of that there are numerous speculations of a PlayStation 5 Release Date being not too far away.
PlayStation 5 Release Date could be more than a year away and it could allow Sony to annihilate the competition
What’s the point in having powerful hardware if you don’t have the titles? Xbox has some decent games but the PS4 library is better. The Xbox One S is outselling the PS4 in the UK but that’s not because people are switching. First, it’s a cheap 4k Blu Ray player (Huge blunder by Sony not including this in the Pro) and second, people are holding on to their cash until the PS4 Pro arrives.
The PS4 Pro will fly off the shelves even though we believe Microsoft have done a complete U-Turn since that dreadful launch & offer more to the consumer with features etc. This console generation was won/lost the moment Microsoft announced Xbox One with online only DRM. That really hurt Microsoft & you can still see it’s consequences in the market today. So, Sony now has the added financial advantage and it could use it as a stepping stone to dominate Microsoft.
Having their system bundled with Kinect and $100 more didn’t help MS either. Their system was known to be weaker before it even launched. And while some PS3 gamers were happy waiting to upgrade, 360 owners were ready and we believe MS lost a lot of gamers who switched to Sony. It was critical that MS include a UHD drive in Xbox One S. They’re are trying to reclaim the millions of customers they lost. But if Sony drops the ultimate bombshell that is the PlayStation 5, Microsoft will continue losing customers even faster. Anyways let us know what you think could be a possible PlayStation 5 Release Date.
