All the devices that Nokia has announced are for the mid-range segment and we are yet to see a flagship phone from the company. There have been a lot of leaks and rumours about Nokia 9 that is allegedly the flagship Android smartphone that Nokia will be launching this year. The phone has now been listed on AnTuTu, giving us a detailed look at its specifications.
The high-end smartphone from Nokia is mentioned with model number TA-1004. For the specifications, the phone will sport a QHD display and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It will come powered by Snapdragon 835, like it has been expected for long, and will have 4GB of RAM.
Nokia 9 also got listed on GeekBench a few days ago and that listing mentioned 8GB of RAM. So, it is still not clear if the phone will come with 8GB or 4GB of RAM. However, 4GB seems to be a logical choice, since the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 also came with 4GB of RAM.
Camera details are also mentioned in the Nokia 9 AnTuTu listing. It says the camera to be 13 MP + 13 MP. This could indicate the presence of a 13 MP camera on the front or it could also mean that the back of the phone would come with dual camera setup. Either way, the listing doesn’t reveal any other detail than this.
Based on the earlier leaks, the Nokia 9 will come with a screen size measuring 5.3 inches and the phone will have an internal storage of 64GB. Quick Charge 4.0 can also be seen along with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button itself.
In a previous report, the pricing of the phone was also mentioned. The report suggested that the Nokia 9 would retail for USD 699 in the US, EUR 749 in Europe and INR 44,999 in India. A fairly large 3800 mAh battery was also expected along with an iris scanner and IP68 rating.
