Right before the CES 2017, Samsung announced a new laundry system through its newsroom. The company has announced a new washing machine with some new interesting features, which it claims will bring more choices to the consumers while doing their laundry. The machine will be showcased at the Samsung’s booth at CES 2017.
Samsung says that the product carries all its core laundry technologies. The technology which we are talking about in this laundry system is called FlexWash + FlexDry. It brings two washers and two dryers in one system, which can work independently or simultaneously. The new technology is designed to aid a busy modern family.
The company claims that the FlexWash system is the largest in its class as it comes with two loaders. For the front loader, there is a space of five cubic feet, which is designed for heavier loads. While a smaller top loader can take in lighter loads. As mentioned earlier, the two washers can be used separately or simultaneously. LG too launched a similar technology called the Twin Wash.
On the other hand, FlexDry too has two compartments with their own features. The top loader has a Delicate Rack Zone that dries delicate clothes using a controlled, heated air flow. The temperature is set automatically depending on the clothes and it can range from room temperature to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The front and the main compartment uses Samsung’s MultiSteam technology that freshens and disinfects the clothes. It also reduces odours and wrinkles from the clothes.
Moreover, the FlexWash and FlexDry are IoT-enabled and the users can connect to the machine using Samsung Smart Home app on their smartphones. The users will be able to start, stop and monitor every cycle for both the machines. The new FelxWash and FlexDry are both CES Innovation Award honourees in 2017.
