Battlefield 1 is now available for all players worldwide after a brief period of early access for those who pre-ordered the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition. Reviews have already been quite positive for the World War 1 era first person shooter, be it in the campaign, visuals or multiplayer mode which brings several new features to the forefront. Seriously, you’re guarding a pigeon this time around when not waging war across multiple sectors. A pigeon for crying out loud. We will show you 5 hidden things in our Battlefield 1 Easter Egg Guide.
Battlefield 1 Easter Egg Guide – The mini pistol
Most of you have probably seen this before. It’s a mini pistol based off a real life WWII weapon. It’s the smallest gun in the game and does really little damage so getting kills with it is really hard.
Battlefield 1942 theme
What would this game be without references to previous titles in the series. Battlefield 1 features a call-back to the very first game in the series, namely Battlefield 1942. However, in this case the first game was chronologically ahead because it takes place during WWII.
This was the craziest easter egg in Battlefield 4 and it makes a return in the new one. Load up the Sways map in multiplayer and destroy the Behemoth on the coast. You should hear the shark’s sound but there is no visual contact.
DICE is known for more than just Battlefield. Mirror’s Edge is referenced in the opening cutscene of the Battlefield 1 campaign. In the submarine, observe the chalkboard behind the characters and you’ll notice Faith written. She is the protagonist of Mirror’s Edge.
It’s possible to acquire a booster pack with a shotgun, side arm and bolo knife by pre-ordering the game. This is obviously a tribute to the Harlem Hellfighters who fought in the Great War.
