Google pushed the latest update for its Gmail app for Android with some little changes. The update brings improvements to the already available features and should also include some bug fixes as well. The app has been updated to version 18.104.22.168522397 and can be downloaded as an APK.
Gmail app for Android was initially limited to Google accounts but eventually gave the users an option to use any third-party email service. The app can now act has a client for Outlook, Yahoo, and other services, besides Google.
The new update adds features to this by allowing the users to mark messages as spam for non-Gmail addresses. This isn’t a major feature but will definitely come handy when the need be.
Besides this, the changelog of the update includes the ability to add GIFs to your emails using the Gboard. This feature was introduced a while ago and is already available in the final builds. Gboard in itself is a great product from Google that offers a great keyboard experience along with the added ability of built-in Google Search and features like adding GIFs.
It was just a few weeks ago that Gmail had got the ability to send and receive money just by an email. This feature uses Google Wallet to ease the process and make monetary transactions much easier. It was made available to the US users only.
