Ryzen is without a doubt the most sought after processor series from AMD. The processor series is said to be the most powerful processors that AMD has ever produced and is ready to give a tough competition in a market that is dominated by Intel. After several rounds of leaks and rumours, the Ryzen 7 series processors are up for pre-order and other details have also been revealed by the company.
A Belgian online retailer, centralpoint.be, has listed three processors from the series along with their price tags and launch dates. The Ryzen 7 1800X, 1700X and 1700 are the three processors that are available for pre-orders and will be available from February 28. According to the website, the processors have been priced at €499, €389 and €319 respectively excluding VAT.
All the three processors come with 8 cores and 16 threads and come unlocked for overclocking out of the box. Both the 1800X and the 1700X processors are Black Edition models and will feature AMD’s unlimited Turbo “Auto-Overclocking” XFR technology. The two of them have a TDP rating of 95W, while 1700 is rated at 65W.
Meanwhile, the 1800X and the 1700X CPUs have two listings each with different product IS and a price difference of €20. It can be assumed that AMD might be launching the processors with and without stock coolers. If the users choose the processor without cooling unit can use the 20 bucks saved towards buying a better cooling unit instead.
The listing has been removed since and now the website doesn’t display any product from the Ryzen family. However, it has provided a lot of valuable information regarding the processors during the short while the products were listed.
