Nokia is back in the game, thanks to HMD Global for bringing the Nokia branded phones back. Until now the company has launched a few Android devices that were targeted at the lower and mid-range segment. Nokia is expected to launch a couple of high-end smartphones and the pics of the two have surfaced indicating a few important details.
Details of the top of the line Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 have leaked a few times and we already know a thing or two about them. While we didn’t know how the phones would look like in real, an official video by Nokia gives us a glimpse at it.
Nokia released a promotional video recently and it showed four smartphones and we all know that Nokia has launched only three smartphones in the budget segment. The fourth one is most probably the high-end smartphone that Nokia is planning to launch later this year.
You can see the image above with an unknown smartphone on the extreme left. The only thing that gets confirmed through this image is the presence a dual camera setup along with an LED flash. Nokia was expected to include a dual camera setup in their flagship smartphone and this image from their official video gives the confirmation.
The second image shows two devices with their capacitive Android navigation keys. The one on the left doesn’t have any fingerprint scanner while the right one features a home button cum fingerprint scanner.
The left one is most probably the high-end Nokia 9 as the phone is expected to come with an embedded fingerprint scanner beneath the glass. However, some other reports have suggested a rear mounted scanner, which isn’t visible in the previous image. While, the Nokia 8 will indeed come with a front facing fingerprint scanner like the Nokia 6.
