Lenovo owned Moto has completed 44 years of its existence and the company celebrated the moment by releasing a video last week. The video showed how Motorola phones have evolved from the world’s first cell phone to a modern Moto smartphone. Among all the devices shown, there was one which hasn’t been officially released in the market – Moto C.
The company recently revealed the Moto G5 2017 series and it has already been launched in many markets. The mid-range series is the most famous of them all for Moto and drives a big chunk of sales for the company. On the other hand, the Moto C is expected to be a low-end smartphone, similar to the Moto E series.
In an image shared on Twitter by @krispitech (from Weibo user ucanup), the Moto C can be seen clearly from all its sides and it matches the one seen in the video. The image shows the three color variants the phone might be available in with the design being brought in line with the Moto G5. The phone has capacitive navigation keys below the display instead of on screen ones.
The phone seen in the video is visible just from the back and it seemingly has speaker grills with a white color body. The name was confirmed by the popular leakster Evan Blass on Twitter. Android Central says that the Moto C is a $100 phone, while The Android Soul confirmed the phone’s model name XT1750 spotted in a Russian certification list.
Android Headlines reported that the Moto C will come with a MediaTek MT6737m 64-bit quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will have a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854) display and will sport a 2300mAh battery. The phone is said to come with a 5MP rear facing camera and a 2MP one on the front.
Another phone to appear in the video was the Moto E4 and Evan Blass again confirmed the name. The blue colored phone also has the circular camera housing that all the recent Moto phones are sporting. It seems to have a metal body, considering the antenna lines.
Moto X (2017) had also leaked earlier this year and was said to be a mid-range smartphone with specs similar to the current gen Moto Z Play. The leaked bootloader screen of the phone suggested Snapdragon 625 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It had a model number XT1801.
